Oh, that's right...
I spent 2+ hours in a stupid meeting with a bunch of Colonels today. Bored for the first hour and a half, then they decided to start punishing me for the dining facility "running out of food". They spent the remainder of the meeting talking about how this or that was never in-stock and how everything was going downhill. All because there was no iced tea in the machine when the Colonel went to get a drink!
It's a good thing I don't work for them and am not in any longer. As if that needed reinforcement. The military is great at fighting and winning, but sucks at any customer service issue. "Feedback from an upset customer" almost made me laugh, if it wasn't so pathetic.
The really funny thing is, his dining hall is probably one of the top 5 in country, out of 70 or so. He just happens to visit the #1 dining hall every week or so. So he gets jealous.
It's very interesting to be looking in from the outside now.
